Photos from an amazing 3 day stay in venice over the end of year break 2013/14.
Venice has a postcard scene around every corner. On a sunny day the brightness of the colours and the blue of the sky and water almost overwhelm the senses.
This is a must visit place, give yourself a couple of days to ensure you see its range of weather and go in winter to avoid the crowds and smelly canals!
In this gallery, lots of gondolas, canals, brightly coloured scenes and calm sunsets.
"Palau, officially the Republic of Palau is an island country located in the western Pacific Ocean. It is geographically part of the larger island group of Micronesia."
Known for it's famous rock islands, Palau is one of those places you might think only exists in movies. It is a tropical paradise with modern infrastructure, a thriving and sustainable tourist industry and a happy and welcoming population.
In this gallery, sunsets of a lifetime, the amazing jellyfish lake, remains of a violent past and aerial views of their national treasure.
The Territory of the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, also called Cocos Islands and Keeling Islands, is a territory of Australia, located in the Indian Ocean, southwest of Christmas Island and approximately midway between Australia and Sri Lanka.
The territory consists of two atolls and 27 coral islands, of which two, West Island and Home Island, are inhabited with a total population of approximately 600. - Fotopedia
I get to travel here a couple of times a year with work and always try to make the most of it and get as many shots as I can in this unique location.
Shots from this collection have made it into Australian Traveller Magazine and onto an Australia Post Stamp, as well as being the featured photos for Cocos on the Fotopedia.
"Innes National Park is a national park on the southwest tip of Yorke Peninsula in South Australia (Australia), 300 km west of Adelaide. Known as Innes by many, the park is a popular destination for camping, bushwalking, fishing, surfing and scuba diving." - Wiki
While we have been living in South Australia for a number of years, we haven't explored as many of it's national parks as I'd like to. One weekend we packed the car and set off for an amazing landscape at the end of a very boring drive.
In this gallery see the otherworldly formations, colourful sunset over Investigator Straight and the unique profile of wedge island.
Unfortunately I can't offer these for sale due to national park regulations...
