I thought I'd take advantage of my last few nights in Darwin and see if I could improve on my sunset shots down around Stokes Hill Wharf. The sky didn't really light up the way it can do around here and I wasn't very inspired by what I was seeing on the back of the camera. However after putting everything through Lightroom I was pleasantly surprised by some of them and even disappointed that I didn't persist knowing that the K5 is capable of so much more that it hints at on the rear screen.

Unfortunately looking into the harbour the usual flotilla of boats moored up was nowhere to be seen, so the foreground was a bit lacking and I had to look to include some of the more industrial features of the harbour.

Darwin Sunset Lastly, if anyone has a cool $20million lying around, then this is what you'd be able to pick up as your own personal floating paradise. The Meridian has be moored at the wharf for the whole 3 weeks I've been up here and a quick search on google found that it sold last year for $19.95 million!
